I’m too self-obsessed, so instead of writing about me, I’m now going to write about you.
I see you around town. I see you order your morning coffee. I see you enjoying your lunch. I see you playing with your kids. I see you walking your dog. I see you driving to the store. And, I see you listening to your music.
You’re a good person.
You’re a polite person.
You’re living in the greatest of times, at the precipice of when all mankind will gain free and unfettered access to the sum of human experience and knowledge. You are alive at a time when any person will have the ability to inexpensively distribute their stories and opinions in a way that it can be accessed by any other human on the planet.
Thanks to this free access to information, you are about to witness the end of the subjugation of people by their governments. Soon, it will be impossible for a few powerful people to push “the party line” into our minds through the guarded pinholes of the traditional media.
You are lucky to be alive when man will truly be free.
You are completely unique in body, mind, and spirit.
Your body is a work of art – constructed by God and the choices of your ancestors through genetics and molded by you and your choices.
Your face is always an expression of your feelings and thoughts – in themselves completely unique.
You smile when you meet me on the street and you offer an encouraging word when I am having trouble.
You’re nice enough to laugh at my silly jokes.
I admire the way you take care of business and meet your responsibilities.
I admire the way you cook that dish. You say your grandma taught you, but everyone knows you’ve added something extra.
It’s impossible for you not to do things your own way, and doing things your own way is an act of creation, and creation is your gift to the rest of us. Creation is always a gift.
You’re really cool.
