“42” is a very important number.
I’ve been thinking about “42” since I read Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy when I was a kid. In the book, Douglas Adams wrote that the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything is “42.”
The number “42” appears quite a lot in human writings including in the Book of Revelations. When questioned about why he chose “42,” Adams said he just looked at the wall and that number popped into his head.
Since the day I found out that I was born on a Tuesday at 9:11am (we dial 911 for help, and September 11th was a Tuesday), I’ve decided that I’m possibly the only person in the universe and everything refers to me. (kidding, really)
Well, it’s becoming obvious that my 42nd year on the planet will be the best year yet for me because I’m going to be able to help a number of other people realize their dreams. In the process, we’re going to revitalize and make a huge economic contribution to a small, Oklahoma community.
