Some Persians Are Women, Too

This morning, my celebration of Spring took me again to Google, to search the term “beautiful woman” to find a bunch of pictures to steal for my blog.  I found out last year that virtual, online searches and collections belay the requests from my animal brain to actually seek out female companionship.

A quick search of The Universe Is Between Your Ears archives shows that Spring started in January for me last year.

Girl Crazy

The Connection Between Rebecca De Mornay and My Penis

Holy crap, I hate looking through my own blog.  It’s a terrible verbal parade of crazy. It’s truly awful shit.

ANYWAY, when I was searching for beautiful women for this blog, I ran across some Persian women.  Persians are the people who make up Iran.

I had a crush on a young Persian woman with whom I worked in college.

I worked at the Agricultural Economics Extension Office at the Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma around 1989.  The office had a couple of primary functions — to help graduate students of Ag Econ get their statistics compiled and to work on projects and grants for the professors.

I can’t remember her name.  I can’t believe I’ve forgotten her name.

I haven’t forgotten her face or her voice or the way she acted.

She was pretty, but what turned me on about her was her attitude about life and everything else.  I was (and am) a barely living, sometimes mobile, black hole of suck, but she was the opposite… she radiated good attitude and was always smiling.  God, I loved being in the same room with her.

When I decided to leave school, they had a little going away lunch for me in the office.  I said goodbye to everyone and then I kissed her on the cheek.  She was surprised.

I never saw her again.

The second woman is a phony. It's common knowledge that she is a creation of photoshop. She looks nothing like that. She should not be included on any list. All Iranians know about her, it's why she never made it as a model, she isn't real.

  2. She was graduating and was moving to Phoenix with her family. She gave me their address and phone number, which I later lost. It's wild that I cannot remember her name, but I can remember the names of the other people with whom I worked there. I guess I wasn't supposed to look her up. 🙂 I'm sure there will be many lovely and smart women in your doctorate program and around campus. Good luck!

  3. Ah, man! I wanted a happy ending! lol! I am starting post-secondary this September. I wonder if I will meet women like that…

  4. There's no such thing as a failed life, but I suspect you fear yours to be and that's why you've passed judgment on mine. Try a few deep breaths. See? You're fine (and if you weren't breathing, you'd be fine, too).
