Welcome to the Red Hair Page.
This is the second post in my series trying to see which hair color draws more random searches from Google users.
The first post was Blonde Hair.
Now I have to wonder if there is some psychological aspect to my choice of Blonde Hair for the first post. I don’t think so. For some reason, when people are listing hair colors, they always start with blonde… “Blondes, brunettes, red heads.”
I broke the order for red hair.
I’m not leaving out black hair.
First thing I noticed is that it’s hard to find images on Google of natural red hair. Of course, it’s hard to find people with natural red hair. Red hair is not common. Only up to 2% of the human population has red hair. Even in Western Europe, where Ireland is, there are probably fewer than 6% of the population sporting it.
Coincidentally, I’ve married two females with quite beautiful, natural red hair.
Anyway…
Here’s Rihanna with red hair. This is a wig, of course, but it looks good doesn’t it? As far as I can tell, one can put any color next to dark skin. Read that last sentence twice. |
Here is Bryce Dallas Howard with red hair. Bryce has a boy name yet is the daughter of Ron Howard. |
Kirsten Dunst with Red Hair. |
Nicole Kidman with red hair. Nicole was married to that guy. |
Lindsay Lohan with red hair. I think Lohan is in jail right now proving that being a celebrity doesn’t mean you can get away with anything. You can get away with a lot… |
Whew. Red hair done.
