Mission to Quik Stop

I wanted to do something difficult today, so I decided it should be to walk 1 1/2 miles and cross a highway to buy a Coke.  Then walk back.

It was hot out, like the sun was slapping my skin.

This is what I looked like when I got back.

Anyway, I had walked maybe a third of a mile and then noticed the porch puppies and their mama were following me.  I was determined to complete my mission, but as the cars were passing, I thought of the dogs and turned back.

Obviously, I couldn’t see whether the phone was recording or not a couple of times.  I didn’t plan to get this upside down video… I was just carrying the phone.
