99% of the time I’ve spent playing computer games since Quake was released in 1996 has been Quake, Quake 2, Quake 3 Area, Quake 4, or (now days) QuakeLive.
I think I’m done.
About QuakeLive Record:
* Spend like 1500 hours since June, 2009.
* Played about 9300 games, 98% of those Free For All (one against the rest)
* Won 35% of the games I entered
* Only quit 655 games before someone won (sometimes, you just have to go)
Playing Quake is a lot like an addiction, sort of, I guess. I don’t really have much fun doing it, but I keep doing it. It’s something I’m good at doing.
So, will I keep playing and then post this again next year? Maybe. I’m writing it now because next month my subscription is up… about $50/yr is what I’ve been paying. That’s like two trips to the golf course.
