Got my first Russian spy on me. We played Quake last night, him from Mocba (Moskva, I think, sorta, Moscow, no, I’m missing a letter, think) ANYWAY,…

Joe Winett So, it was like someone read my blog and then came up with a friend for me… based on what they think I might be like just from reading the blog. He’s a gamer. He’s played mostly, and almost exclusively, id games from Wolfenstein 3D (as have I), except for the first Half Life (as have I). He’s 35. 43 would have been just too weird. He said he loves sitting on his couch drinking Budweiser and smoking weed with his girlfriend. He describes himself as a drinker and junkie.

Joe Winett Actually, I just said two days ago to a friend that I love Russians. I do… I love Russia. I’m part Russian — Winetsky, yall.

Joe Winett He said it was hot in Moscow yesterday, a balmy 22. ** THAT’S ALMOST 72 DEGREES F **

Joe Winett It’s funny that my first thought was spy. See, I also have been recently saying on my blog that I’m going to be the 50th President. I guess the Russians think it’s worth planting a friend for me just in case. hahaha

Joe Winett Actually, my whole life has been people showing up out of nowhere who help me. And having a Russian friend who loves America, is going to help me.

Joe Winett Oh, Gosha, when you find this on my blog: It’s “funny” meaning weird. I grew up, during the cold war… the Reagan years… when things were still pretty cold. So, I was trained by government and school and movies to be a little suspicious of Russia and Russians. The reason your flying the game last night reminded me of Russian helicopter gun ships is because of the ones I’ve seen in Hollywood movies. I don’t know how real Russians fly.
