I was a very odd child.
I understood atoms. They were little and hard.
And I understood electricity because I found a broken TV down by the creek and harvested all sorts of switches and whatnot for later glory.
I’m not saying that television taught me about electricity.
Well, yes, I am saying that I learned about electricity from a television.
I found my first switch on a television set that someone had dumped onto the land across the street from my house where I grew up, 7804 E. 79th Pl, Tulsa, Okla, 74133
We called that swap of land, “The Creek”.
