The feeling of accomplishment I felt when I finally finished my book could only have been topped by getting a publishing deal and now it’s going to happen!
I was in the shower. Having just lathered and rinsed, I was in the process of considering repetition when the phone rang. Chandra’s voice alone is music to my ears, but hearing that message made my heart beat wildly:
They were very excited about the book and made an offer. Call me!!
I knew it was a good idea. The best ideas always seem to come out of nowhere. I’m so thankful and proud that I followed through on The Wallet.
Having resolved to stop recording my negative feelings, I’ve decided to write from the future in which I’m grateful for opportunities, the people in my life, and the things I’ve achieved.
