The idea the Jesus is the only way is a dangerous one.
Jesus is an almost perfect representation of God, except for the fact that the people who brought you Jesus tried to make it an exclusive club. Ok, that might not make sense. You’re thinking: Joe, it’s not exclusive… anyone who accepts Jesus can join… and everyone else can burn in hell.
The idea is that everyone are such a sinners that God cannot and will not accept anyone without a hall-pass from Jesus: You’re screwed.
This is a human invention to protect the government of Christianity.
The Roman Empire didn’t dismantle… it moved to Heaven.
I know God exists. I’ve been literally touched by God. And that’s why I know all this we’re living right now is only important if it’s important to you.
Why would this life be important to God, keeper of eternity?? Your 72 years here are going to make a huge difference for God??
Well, they might make a huge difference in someone else’s otherwise meaningless life, sure.
Meaning is where you find it, or where you invent it.
You’re here for a purpose, sure… to figure out why you might want to be here.
It’s not going to hurt God’s feelings if you slip out early and God’s not going to cheer you if you do not.

I don’t understand why you see people complaining, “Why the children?!?! Why didn’t God save the children!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?” God is the keeper of eternity and, you believe, the keeper of Heaven, and you’re wondering why the children had to die??? The children were blessed with death.
Jesus, I love you, but people are not paying attention to the logical implications of their own belief systems.
