Is John Lennon chewing gum??
I’ve thought about this song quite a bit recently.
It’s a nice thought that love is all you need.
What does he mean that you can’t sing a song that can’t be sung?
Nothing you can see that isn’t shown?
Nowhere you can be that isn’t where you were mean to be?
You can’t do anything that can’t be done…
I’m thinking he means that doing things won’t make you happy.
Being loved won’t make you happy either. Loving could make you happy, I guess.
It’s not working for me.
Doing things won’t make me happy, loving doesn’t make me happy, being loved doesn’t make me happy.
I probably don’t work correctly.
We get what we expect, not what we deserve.
