Hello Mr. Prospect

You found my blog.  Excellent.

I’m flattered you bothered to look me up.

When you read what I’ve written here, you’ll come to the following conclusion: I am just the person you’ve been looking for, crazy enough to make that little technology problem/opportunity you have stand up and get in line.

I believe in complete and total technology domination.  There is no victory without honor, regardless of how many cute LEDs are on the box.

My resume:

– Lots of programming
– Joy and tears
– Chinese food, weekly at least

That should about do it.  I bet you’re reaching for your checkbook now.

  1. After you no longer need the aid, I think you should start your own business or do freelance work. Except get a good manager to run the business side 🙂 (i need one too).

That way you have better control over projects, and stuff. Except it's hard finding business sometimes.

  2. Actually, I thought about it today and I think she was doing me a favor because if you're self-employed there is a bigger burden on you to prove your (lack of) income, what you've earned, etc. And there's a different formula.

So, I had to sign the thing saying I'm no longer self employed.

BTW, if you screw the DHS out of assistance, they will hunt you down and make you pay it back. Seems only fair.

  3. ah, well that makes since. if you don't have work, you could use help (ie food stamps). But if you have work (self or other employed), you wouldn't need food stamps. Good plan oklahoma!

  4. No. As a matter of fact, I had to promise DHS that I would not seek self-employment as a condition of the State of Oklahoma granting me what used to be called "food stamps." They're not really in the business of keeping people from starving who operate their own businesses, no matter how poorly.

  5. Are you doing your own software/consulting business now?
